That worked for us back in the 50's and we did not even have a house at the time and used the backroom at Royce's.

Later, during the 60's, when the coffee houses were popular, we would have a talent night where the guys and gals could show off their Musical, Acting (skits only please), and Poetry reading talents on a small stage. The stage was a small, platform in one corner with tables for four to six set up in dinner club fashion. Now all you need is a few waiters and a small non-alcoholic bar behind all of this. It takes a little reorganization and a few hands but wow, what a mixer it can be. And since it is non-alcoholic, the after party can be remembered and enjoyed far better. Who knows, with this you just might meet THE one to share the rest of your life.

The requirement is that everybody wear a (preferably plain) white t-shirt to the party. You supply the markers. People write on each others t-shirts (I still have my first one from 1999). It will be a little awkward and dumb at first.... until your guests get some refreshments in them. I promise it will be a lot of fun in the end! The only downside I saw to this party was people might start writing on your walls. Actually, it turned out to only be in our bathroom, but it was cool because it then became a place for people to sign their names when they came to the house. And we could always paint over it if we wanted.

Click here to see the profile of this user 		Re: Good Mixer Ideas - 2005/11/08 22:58 Our chapter had a nothing but clohtes party which is well exactly sounds like. Your not allowed to wear clothes and here are some general rules for the mixer.

1. cover your shit (don’t have it flopping around) Ideas: plastic, Styrofoam, foam padding, DUCKTAPE, posters

2. Be inventive! Think about what your going to do and how long it will work; for example if you where to wear whip cream your going to need A LOT of it the cover your shit.
NO whip cream ( too messy and your going to need a lot of it)

3.Bring clothes that you can change into part way in to the night.

4. I should not have to say this but respect a girl’s boundaries. (remember almost naked)
Use common scenes!
